The CVM measurement modules have now proven themselves hundredfold and deliver reliable measuring results even in rough field operations. With varied interfaces they can be used very well with common PC systems as well as with embedded systems.

MCM-IntelliProbe 10-Channel

The MCM-IntelliProbe-U10 enables precise cell voltage monitoring for application at bipolar electro-chemical systems, such as fuel cell, battery or electrolysis stacks. In addition, it can be operated as reference measuring technology for the review of battery management systems. Ultra-compact design, temperature resistance and leak tightness of the system predestine an operation not only in testing facilities but also in the field of mobile applications under extreme environmental conditions, such as automotive or naval implementations.
The wide application range of the modules enables the operation in research and development as well as the series trials with continuous measurement technology.
The MCM-IntelliProbe-U10 is compatible with all modules of the MCM-family to allow a PC independent signal processing as well as the option to create user-defined applications via free programmability by use of integrated scripting interfaces.

MCM-IntelliProbe Mastermodule

The MCM-IntelliProbe master module extends the operative range of the system. With the integrated LVDS bus with optimized protocol, the IntelliProbes can be applied in high-speed applications.
By the use of the master module, diverse functions are available. The equipment of the master module with a dual ARM Cortex A9 @ 666MHz as well as user-defined field programmable gate array (FPGA) as sytem on chip (SoC) enables sufficient reserves even for computationally intensive applications and data processing. The use of a realtime Linux kernel ensures high performance and stability. The providing of the SMART MCM process library with integrated LUA script interpreter allows a user-defined data processing, such as alarm events, numerical operations, protocol definitions, triggers, digital I/O.
Expansion slots on mezzanine base offer the opportunity to add an integrated high-performance power supply with wide range input for the connected IntelliProbe modules or for prospective add-ons, such as communication busses e.g. EtherCAT (ethernet for control automation technology).
The MCM-IntelliProbe master module is housed into an aluminum tube housing due to installation space optimization reasons. The connection of communication and supply wires is realized via sealed IP65 (ingress protection) high-quality circular connectors.

MCM-IntelliProbe-LINK

Ultra-compact connection module for supply, communication and GPO of the MCM IntelliProbe-U10 for CAN-only operation or for optional connection to an MCM-IntelliProbe-MasterModule. In a CVMpro-G4 measuring system the MCM-IntelliProbe-Link module is always the first in the stack. The measurement modules are plugged directly on it.

  • Conversion of the internal MCM-IntelliProbe-U10 bus on wired signals

MCM-IP mit Busterminierung

Ultra-compact 10-channel voltage measurement module with integrated bus termination and direct-mount attachment for a galvanically isolated voltage logging in groups of battery, fuel cell or electrolysis stacks. In a CVMpro-G4 monitoring system, the MCM-IntelliProbe-U10T module is always the last element in the stack. It is the terminating module for a correct electrical bus termination of the MCM-IntelliProbe-U10 signal buses.

  • Measuring line connection via ERNI Minibridge 1.27mm connector 12-pole, series connection of the cells is required.
  • Input voltage range for each individual channel -1 V ... +5 V, optional -3 V ... +3 V.
  • 10 measuring channels available with plugged sequence module (-U10 or -U10T).

MCM IntelliProbe-INTERLINK

Ultra-compact bridge module for individual length adjustment of a MCM-IntelliProbe measurement system by creating at least 2 substacks that are arranged on top of each other. The Interlink module ensures the electrical connections of supply and data bus lines. Within a CVMpro-G4 system, the MCM-IntelliProbe-Interlink module can be inserted anywhere within the stack.
