Mountain air, community and good food

Sometimes it doesn't take much to recharge your batteries: a few nice people, fresh air and a mountain panorama. And that's exactly what we had from July 5 to 7 at our SMART hiking weekend, which has almost become a tradition nowadays.

This year, ten colleagues from Development and Production went to the Kitzbühel Alps. Our accommodation was the rustic Hoiz-Alm in Stuhlfelden, a hut that is so remote that you can completely leave everyday life behind you.

Despite the mixed weather, we didn't let the rain showers and gray clouds stop us and used the sunny moments to lace up our hiking boots and explore the mountains together. Whether on the peaks or in the valleys, the nature around Stuhlfelden provided the perfect backdrop for a successful break with exercise and good conversation.

In the evenings, things got cozy: the cooking was always homemade, and with impressive variety: Afghan dishes, Greek classics and Käsespätzle. Everyone came together to eat, chat and get to know each other better outside of work.

Finally, the group went on a day trip to Salzburg. A nice contrast to the remoteness of the alpine pasture and a perfect end to a weekend that was active, relaxed, delicious and, above all, unifying.

We are already looking forward to the next time - and perhaps colleagues from other departments will be there too.
