The MCM Intelli-X measurement and simulation modules are characterised by high channel density, 16-bit resolution, galvanic isolation and a wide-range power supply, all within a minimal footprint.
With the MCM Intelli-X product family, SMART TESTSOLUTIONS presents a new generation of highly precise, compact measurement and simulation modules for use in laboratories, test benches and mobile test systems. The particular advantage of this product family lies in its exceptionally high integration density: Within a very compact footprint, the modules combine multiple measurement or simulation channels, high-resolution 16-bit measurement technology, galvanically isolated channels and a wide-range power supply from 6 to 32 volts. MCM Intelli-X thus offers a combination of performance features that is unique in this size class.
Thanks to their compact and robust design, the modules in the MCM Intelli-X family can be positioned in the immediate vicinity of the devices under test. This reduces cabling requirements and improves signal quality. Positioning directly inside the climate chamber is also possible thanks to the optional IP65 protection rating. At the same time, the integrated signal conditioning protects the measurement technology in the event of short circuits.
A key unique selling point of the product family is the individual galvanic isolation of the channels. Whilst users of compact modules often have to compromise on insulation and safety, MCM Intelli-X combines high channel density with galvanic isolation of every single channel. This allows signals at different potentials to be acquired or simulated safely and reproducibly.
Particularly in high-voltage applications, in battery and fuel cell systems, in industrial test benches or in hardware-in-the-loop environments, this provides additional freedom in system architecture whilst simultaneously increasing operational safety.
The integrated wide-range power supply from 6 to 32 volts offers additional flexibility. This allows the modules to be used in both stationary test benches and mobile applications without the need for complex adaptations. The flexibility in supply voltage makes MCM Intelli-X particularly attractive for decentralised measurement and simulation tasks in vehicles, on test benches or in portable test systems.
